DLC Training becomes Distance Learning College and Training and is recognised as a major training provider within the County Durham region, across the North East, UK, Europe and wider world.
2007
DLC training is named BT RBT Training Provider of year the year and gains an excellence award for delivery of CIPS training and education
2006
DLC Training gets involved with other areas of provision including Skills for Life and I.T. training. Again, taking a high quality learner/industry approach which reaped major benefits and excellent results across a range of areas.
2005
DLC Training was awarded major contracts from both UFI learn direct, The Learning and Skills Council and from the European Social Fund. Head office moved facility to a purposely-designed building.
2004
Now being regarded as a leading expert, nationally with leading distance learning provision added more training courses from professional institutes. IOM joins other courses offered from with CIPS, CMI, IOE and ILM.
2003
The College won a national award for being the "Best Training and Development Provider of the Year". Quickly followed with Centre of Excellence status for Logistics and Transport then overall CDQL excellence award.
2002
DLC Training was formed by industry professionals from manufacturing, logistics and human resources backgrounds who were at the time extremely frustrated by the lack of provision in key industrial areas.
