ILM Level 2 (Award)
The Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Level 2 Award in Team Leading is a qualification specifically designed to give practising or aspiring team leaders a solid foundation in their formal development as a leader.

It is often difficult to make the transition from being part of a team, to leading a team. The compulsory unit in 'Developing yourself as a team leader' is a good starting point of the principles and practicalities of team leading. During the course you can study practical techniques in motivating teams, plus planning and monitoring their work in order to ensure that you can get the best performance out of your team.

The award is made up of compulsory and optional units that total 3 credits
You must complete the Compulsory unit and then add another 2 credits from the Optional units listed below to make up 3 credits

The ILM Level 2 Award in Team Leading aims to give practising or potential team and cell leaders the foundation for their formal development in this role. The qualification does this by developing basic team leading skills and assisting participants in gaining the basic knowledge required at this level.
