The CILT Level 2 Certificate in Logistics and Transport is an introductory logistics course for those who are new to the logistics and transport industry and are starting out in a career in procurement, warehousing and inventory control or production planning. CILT Level 2 equips students with a knowledge of the core principles and processes in logistics and transport.

Before I began my course I was applying to new companies trying to find a better position with some prospects, I never even got a single invite to an interview. When I started my course I updated my CV to include my studying and have since applied for jobs and got an interview for every single job I applied for! I am now considering which position I would like to take with which company, which is fantastic as i haven't even passed yet!

The CILT Level 3 Certificate in Logistics and Transport is designed for those already working, or who wish to work, in a supervisory or first line management role in transport and logistics or in warehousing and production. It is ideal for current or aspiring logistics managers wishing to further their career with a formal logistics or warehousing qualification.

Once I had enrolled and received my coursework, I was assigned a tutor to help me through the course who I can contact by phone or email to help with my many questions. Advanced Diploma in Logistics & Transport

The CILT Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Logistics and Transport is aimed at those already working in logistics and transport management roles, or in supply chain management. It is designed to develop the skills of middle managers at operational level wishing to move up to strategic management level.

To date I have nothing but praise for the staff right through from my personal tutor to the background team for helping and guiding me through the first few "daunting" weeks, having not studied for almost 25 years! I recently attended my first study workshop at the The Hilton hotel at Gatwick Ariport and found it very beneficial. When can I start my course?

One of the great things about Distance Learning College's courses is the flexibility of our courses. Unlike traditional college courses we do not have set start dates for our courses meaning you can get started at a time that suits you.

Where can I sit my exams?

There are a number of options available for you to sit your exams. You can sit them at one of the registered CILT centres located throughout the UK. Alternatively, you can sit your exams at your place of work with another member of staff present as your invigilator.

When do I have to sit my exams?

Unlike traditional college courses, opportunities to complete your exams are available on several dates throughout the year for all of our distance learning courses.

What coursework will I have to do?

Your tutor will set regular tasks and activities for you to complete as you progress through your course to help develop your knowledge and prepare for exams. Your tutor will continuously provide you with feedback on your work and help you to develop your knowledge further.
