Distance Learning College and Training’s latest student workshop took place last week at Wetherby Racecourse.
Distance learning students from around the country attended to meet their tutors face-to-face to discuss the progress of their courses and get help and advice on topics such as exam preparation and study techniques.
Distance Learning College and Training hold regular workshops at venues around the country, allowing students to meet their tutors, mentors and liaison officers face to face and socialise with other students.
Distance learning tutors for CIPS, CMI, ILM, CILT, IOE and IOM courses attended the workshop, holding one-to-one and group tutor sessions as well as presentations giving advice on exam preparation and study techniques. Feedback received from students and tutors alike was very positive.
The next student workshop will be held next month – students will receive invitations to attend when details have been confirmed.
